The Technicolor large-format process is still handled largely by a veteran team of 45 dedicated experts, led by a core group whose members have been working hands-on with 65mm/70mm for nearly as long as the format has existed. No wonder that the vast majority of the world’s leading filmmakers shooting in large-format insist on trusting only Technicolor.
 
Just as the Technicolor process and expertise has been continually refined and enhanced over the past two decades, volumes have grown exponentially. Now, as much as 60-million feet of 70mm release prints travel through our facilities each year.
 
Our comprehensive core infrastructure includes hand-built and maintained equipment, such as our state-of-the-art negative developer and two positive developers as well as six 65/70mm printers. We also offer our distinctive, state-of-the-art large-format negative assembly process, ultrasonic film cleaning process, developing and printing processes, and our Bremson-based color-timing process. Combined, these processes help ensure that filmmakers, production companies, and studios get the highest, longest-lasting value possible from their original large-format negatives and prints.
