Technicolor and Paramount are partnering on an ambitious expansion of the studio's sound post production operations. A newly expanded and refurbished sound facility will become the centerpiece of Paramount’s Post Production Village on its Hollywood lot. The facility, managed by Technicolor, will provide a range of post services for film, TV and commercial producers starting in 2010.

Technicolor Sound Editorial Division facilities
- Numerous editing rooms, equipped with ProTools HD systems and a 1.5 terabyte proprietary sound effects library that has been in the making for over 20 years.
- Two 5.1 ICON mix stages with digital projection & two 5.1 mix stages with SSL consoles, which can function with 2- or 1-man mixes and can accommodate temps, pre-dubs and final mixes (including Dolby print masters).
- One mix stage dedicated to mixing trailers and commercials.
- Three ADR stages that include digital projection, monitor playback and ISDN capability.
- Foley services with full transfer and layback capabilities.

Technicolor Sound Services stands at the forefront of creating mobile mix environments. Our DMR (Digital Mobile Re-Recording) stages enable our clients to play a hands-on role throughout the mixing process with the convenience on-site service at their chosen location.
