Technicolor Supports 16 Films Premiering at Cannes

Technicolor provided services for 16 theatrical features and documentaries premiering at the recent Cannes Film Festival.

The volume of feature projects underscores Technicolor’s global services offerings. Major directors with films at Cannes supported by Technicolor include director Fernando Meirelles’ festival-opening Blindness; Woody Allen’s Vicky Cristina Barcelona; Steven Spielberg’s Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull; and, Clint Eastwood’s Changeling. Technicolor also handled many facets of the new DreamWorks Animation feature, Kung Fu Panda.

The Cannes Classics section also included three films restored by Technicolor, including the French classic Lola Montes. The restoration of  Lola Montes was funded by The Thomson Foundation and other organizations in conjunction with the Cinematheque Frances.
