Alex Knudsen comes from a film background as a writer, producer, director and editor of shorts, features, and music videos that spans over two decades. His history of seeing projects from conception through completion feeds his passion in the world of VFX from script bidding to final delivery.

Alex gets the most joy in his job as VFX Supervisor working with fellow artists, strategizing the best way to approach a shoot, and then the shot work when it gets to post, and troubleshooting along the way. Alex loves storytelling above all and strives to ensure the work serves to help tell the story while adhering to the creative’s vision.

Alex most recently supervised VFX work for The Loudest Voice, Big Little Lies, True Detective and The Nutcracker and the Four Realms. Prior to his role as supervisor, Alex spent his time with Technicolor VFX as a Senior VFX Producer in theatrical, broadcast and marketing.
