Frank Biasi - Senior Editor - Technicolor Toronto

Frank Biasi

Senior Editor

Meet Frank Biasi, Senior Editor at Technicolor Toronto.

After working on television episodic and long-form shows for just over two decades, Frank arrived at Technicolor and started working on feature films in 2008. One of the most memorable moments of Frank’s career was the week he spent at Skywalker Ranch learning the EditDroid while working on Rolling Stones Live at the Max. He was also one of the first editors in North America to use the Quantel iQ finishing system and had the chance to give input into its development.  Frank also has fond memories of meeting Jim Henson, which he says was “pretty cool.”

Frank’s favorite films include It’s a Wonderful Life and Field of Dreams, which are respectively part of his Christmas and springtime rituals.  Kevin Costner’s Ray Kinsella in Dreams is also one of Frank’s favorite characters.

When not at work as DI Editor, Frank enjoys photography, maintaining the website and stats for a local minor league hockey league, and dining at either Farro Ristorante (owned by his brother) or Eden Trattoria (great food with a great view).

While Frank is proud of the work he has done on many productions, he says that nothing tops the birth of his children.
