A professional, high-quality soundtrack makes a tremendous difference to any production. Anvil, Technicolor’s UK sound facility, offers three Dolby Digital mix stages and two spacious and well-equipped Foley/ADR/Post-sync rooms for all your sound post production needs.
Our talented, professional mixing team can help you achieve the highest-quality sound for your TV drama or feature. Recent feature credits include An Education, Brighton Rock, Burke and Hare and Chalet Girl, plus the TV dramas The Reckoning and Lewis for ITV.
Anvil is based at Perivale and ideally located to service the Soho post production community (25 minutes from Oxford Circus on the Central Line). We are also easy to reach via excellent road links from both central London and Heathrow airport.
ADR
- Two floating, soundproofed stages optimized for recording high-quality ADR/Post-sync. Both rooms are large enough to record crowds, if needed.
Foley
- Spacious Foley stage with a large variety of surfaces, a comprehensive stock of props and a large water tank.
Mixing
- Three Dolby Digital mix stages capable of delivering all industry-accepted mix formats, up to and including Dolby Digital 7.1.
Sound design
- Anvil works with the UK’s leading feature and broadcast sound designers and will provide you with the right team for your production.
Versioning
- For over a decade, Anvil has provided versioning services (foreign language mixing) for major studios including Paramount, Warner Brothers, Sony and Universal.
