Research & Innovation wins “Best Long Paper Award” at WEB3D Conference.
The research paper entitled "Streaming and Synchronization of Multi-User Worlds Through HTTP/1.1" was presented at the ACM Siggraph Web3D 2011 conference in Paris, France.
The conference jury bestowed the "best long paper award" on its five authors: Jean-Eudes Marvie, Pascal Gautron, Pascal Lecocq, Olivier Mocquard and François Gérard – all members of the Mixed Reality project within the Technicolor Research & Innovation (R&I) team.
In addition to the award, R&I also presented a demonstration as a final review of the Metaverse European Project which describes streaming and synchronization of virtual worlds.
