Best Research & Innovation Internship Award

For the 4th consecutive year, we have chosen to honor our highest performing interns by renewing the Best Research & Innovation Internship contest.  As always, the challenge was met with big success and this year we distinguished three of our young recruits. These interns were rewarded for their involvement and significant contributions to our research activities, and in particular for their scientific approach addressing complex problems while proposing new ideas, their ability to develop needed environments to reach their goals, and for their curiosity and team spirit.

The award ceremony for this contest took place during our Christmas party on December 17th, 2015.

Salma JIDDI, student at ENSEIRB Matmeca, who worked on the estimation of illumination and reflectance via video+depth processing and application to augmented reality under the supervision of Philippe ROBERT.

Pierre PRABLANC, from the INP Grenoble, who worked on vocal double with his tutors Alexey OZEROV, Ngoc DUONG and Patrick PEREZ.

Nezha KABBAJ, Master II student at INP Grenoble in medical engineering & medical imaging, who emerged as the winner of the Best Research & Innovation Internship Award, after having spent 6 months in our Media Computing Lab working on a facial landmark detection problem with her tutors François LE CLERC (shown above receiving the award on behalf of Nezha) and Xavier BURGOS.
