Short Bio

Ngoc Q. K. Duong is Senior Scientist at Technicolor R&D France since Nov. 2011. Prior to that, he obtained the PhD at French National Institute of Computer Science and Control (INRIA) in Signal Processing and Telecommunications with a thesis prize (prix de thèse) awarded by the Fondation Rennes 1. He is co-author of more than 20 scientific publications (5 journals & conference papers) and more than 10 pending patents. He is a recipient of the IEEE Signal Processing Society's Young Author Best Paper Award in 2012.

  • Audio, speech, and multimedia signal processing
  • Real-world audio source separation and speech enhancement
  • Audio indexing and retrieval.
