Short Bio:

I graduated from the Institut de Formation Supérieur en Informatique et Communication (IFSIC)  and received a DEA in Signal Processing and Telecommunication from Rennes I University in 1994. I joined THOMSON-CSF LER in Rennes the same year. From 1994 to 1997 I worked on digital modulation and more specifically on equalization of OFDM signals. From 1997, within the Digital Home Network project, I worked on the simulation of digital physical layers for wireless communication and participated in the ETSI-BRAN technical committee focused on the standardization of the local wireless network HIPERLAN/2. Then I participated in the design of a HIPERLAN/2 physical layer embedded in an IC. From 2004 to 2007, I worked on the specification and the design of a wireless communication physical layer dedicated to professional broadcast cameras. In 2008 and 2009, I led the HD Digital Triax activity that specified, designed and delivered to Grass Valley an innovative communication system making possible the use of triaxial cables instead of optical fibers for live HD production in challenging environments. Since the beginning of 2010, I have been working on image processing within the Imaging Science Laboratory in R&I Rennes, with particular focus on local feature descriptors.
