Picture Coding Symposium (PCS) is an international forum devoted specifically to advancements in visual data coding.
Technicolor at PCS 2013

PCS is the pioneer and has the longest history in this field. Since 1969, PCS has provided the most exciting forum for the visual coding community from academia and industry.

The 30th PCS will be held in the Bay Area that has always been a key area for industry in the development of image and video coding and applications since Eadweard Muybridge’s famous experiments on the Palo Alto racetrack in 1872. In line with the pioneering tradition of PCS, path breaking, challenging exploratory contributions are very welcomed.

At this event, Technicolor will present 2 papers "Flexible Stream Switching based on HEVC" by Patrick Lopez, Philippe Bordes, Franck Hiron  and "Color Gamut Scalable Video Coding For SHVC" by Philippe Bordes, Pierre Andrivon, Roshanak Zakizadeh.
