For the first time, Technicolor sponsored the 4th Anti-Piracy and Content Protection Summit, held from June 24th to 26th 2013 in Los Angeles, California. Experts from the movie, games, music, publishing, sports, software and TV industries, law enforcement and government agencies, solution providers and associations united to discuss how to protect content more effectively.

During this event, Eric Diehl, VP, Security Systems & Technologies gave a presentation entitled “Securing Content: A Multi-Layered Strategy.” He explained how properly securing digital content is a complex and demanding task. It is not simply a technological process, but implies definition of policies, enforcement of procedures and the usage of various technologies. The presentation provided a comprehensive, layered approach to tackling four security goals. In addition a basic toolbox was presented encompassing techniques such as encryption and watermarking. Eric Diehl also took the opportunity to introduce Content Armor™, Technicolor’s suite of advanced security technologies to protect digital content automated workflows with reduced operating time and cost.
