In an exclusive IndieWire article, Technicolor shared the recent results from an unprecedented industry-wide HDR survey. With over 200 participants taking the survey, there was a very high completion rate of 70% (140+ participants).
According to Technicolor CMO Sandra Carvalho, “We [Technicolor] believe[s] that HDR opens more choices for expressing creative intent —whether it is to present more realistic images, or to transport viewers beyond reality into the storytellers’ vision.”
