MPC Adds Six British Arrows to Quiver of Awards

Technicolor’s MPC and MPC Creative take four Golds and two Silvers at the British Arrows, the prestigious advertising event honoring the industry’s best ideas and craft.
  • MPC, a Technicolor company, received 10 award nominations across VFX, VR, CGI, Color, and Animation.
  • A leading creative giant within the advertising industry, MPC continues to add to its prestigious portfolio of work with leading brands.

Technicolor’s MPC and MPC Creative joined the industry’s top ad agencies, production companies, post houses, and talent at the recent British Arrows – and collected six awards across multiple sweeping categories. After 40 years, the highly-coveted British advertising awards have now combined to celebrate both the best ideas of the year, and the best craft.

With ten nominations – from Animation and Color to CGI, VR, and VFX – MPC and MPC Creative repeatedly took to the stage as their name was announced for the following awards:

The John Lewis holiday ad campaign stole the show, with ‘Buster the Boxer’ TVC – directed by Blink’s Dougal Wilson with adam&eveDDB – honored with two British Arrows: GOLD for Animation (David Bryan, Max Mallmann) and GOLD for CGI (Diarmid Harrison-Murray, Fabian Frank, William Laban). Meanwhile, MPC Creative's ‘Buster’s Garden’ Interactive VR  experience – a companion piece to the ad also produced with adam&eveDDB – received SILVER for VR (Dan Phillips, Andre Assalino, Pete Conolly).

The epic Honda Civic spot, ‘Up’ – with Pedro and Wieden + Kennedy – was next in the winning line-up, collecting GOLD for Color (George K) and GOLD for VFX (Bill McNamara, Iain Murray, Mike Little).

Wrapping up the evening with another award, Jean-Clément Soret, Global Creative Director of Color, took home SILVER for Harvey Nichols, ‘Britalia’.

In addition to being an honoree, MPC Creative also designed and produced the screen content for the awards ceremony.

Congratulations to all the nominees, and visit the British Arrows for a complete list of the winners.
