Technicolor Hosts Session At RDK Tech Summit 2016

Interest and momentum for RDK-B continues to increase at tech summit.

As the founding contributor of the RDK-B software, Technicolor was invited to host a session on day three of the RDK Tech Summit 2016. Charles Moreman, Chief Product Architect for Connected Home and lead architect for Technicolor’s contribution to the RDK-B project opened the first speaking session on July 21 with an introduction to RDK-B Architecture & Components. Participants included customers, vendors, and other third party software companies.

The summit organized by the RDK-Management LLC in the CableLabs premises (Louisville, Colorado) from July 19 - July 21 was attended by over seventy people from across the RDK community spanning five major operators. The RDK-Broadband (RDK-B) sessions on day three was sold out two weeks before the event because of overwhelming demand. The RDK Tech Summit 2016 confirmed that interest and momentum for RDK for Broadband (RDK-B) continues to increase.
