Directed by James Watkins (The Woman in Black), Bastille Day is an action packed thriller set in Paris. Technicolor London provided full on-set dailies services for the film in both London and Paris locations. The film follows two central characters, played by Idris Elba (Mandela, Luther) and Richard Madden (Game of Thrones) over twenty-four hours of action-packed thrills in a frantic attempt to expose a conspiracy of chaos and greed. Principal photography began in Paris in the fall of 2014 for five weeks and moved to London, wrapping in mid-December 2014.

Bastille Day’s screenplay was written by John Hodge (Trainspotting, The Beach) and Andrew Baldwin (The Outsider) and produced by StudioCanal.
