Technicolor UK expands Creative Team

Claude and Gascoigne join London Creative Services.

 

John Claude and Alex Gascoigne are the newest additions to the London creative team. Tom Cotton, VP of Creative Services UK commented “We are delighted to welcome senior colourists John and Alex to the Technicolor family. We have a fantastic creative team whose experience spans across all genres of high end TV and film post production. Coupled with our consultative approach - from colour managed workflows, on-set dailies, VFX, previews to DI and to delivery - we believe to be in a truly unique position in the marketplace.”

With 20 years’ experience in the industry, John has worked with some of the most acclaimed British directors, across film and TV drama. Film credits include Elaine Constantine’s “Northern Soul”, Kenneth Branagh’s “The Magic Flute” and Mike Leigh’s “Another Year” and “An Education”; his latest broadcast work can be seen in Luther and Him and Her.

Alex’s ten year career has seen him lend his talent to drama and documentary, feature and broadcast projects. Alex’s impressive broadcast work includes Bear Grylls Wild Weekends, Whitechapel, Space Dive, Little Crackers and Detectorists. He has also offered his colour grading skills to film projects such as Jorge Blanco’s animation film “Planet 51”, Susan Jacobson’s “The Holding” and Antony Butt’s “After the Apocalypse”.

John and Alex will be joining supervising visual colourist Peter Doyle (“Paddington Bear”, “Big Eyes”, “Theory of Everything”) and senior colourist Dan Coles (Grantchester, Cilla, Veep). In addition to the local Soho talent Technicolor also offers its clients access to its pool of international talent such as Jean Clement Soret, Steve Scott, Mike Hatzer and Skip Kimball.
