Two major summer productions versioned by Technicolor Montreal

TCS Montreal’s versioning team has worked on the French-language version of Disney/ Pixar’s latest film Brave and on Warner Studio’s Magic Mike

July 2nd - TCS Montreal’s versioning team has worked in June on the French-language version of Disney/ Pixar’s latest film, in theatres since, June 22nd. Rebelle (the French-language version of Brave) tells of the exploits of Princess Merida, expert archer and impetuous daughter of King Fergus and Queen Elinor.

Disney wanted a star talent who could sing for Princess Merida role. After a long search among the many talented Quebec artists, we stopped our choice on a young singer, named Marilou. The result: outstanding!

Warner Studio’s Magic Mike, for its part, has been released on June 29th. A comedic drama set in the strip scene, Magic Mike is directed by Steven Soderbergh (Traffic and other hits) and stars Channing Tatum in the title role.

For this production, the Montreal dubbing team got the opportunity to work closely with Steven Soderbergh  and his team,  to produce a French-language version that met his expectations.
