From November 8th, 2013 to January 20th, 2014, Technicolor will be hosting, in a partnership with BeMyApp, the QEO Connected Home challenge dedicated to developers and focused on the Internet of Things. The three most promising projects will be presented at Technicolor’s booth at CES in Las Vegas.

With Qeo, Technicolor positions itself as a pioneer in inter-object communication. Acting as a universal language, this software platform is revolutionizing the connected home. Qeo enables full interoperability between ecosystems, applications and devices of all brands.
For the first time, Technicolor is opening its Qeo technology to independent developers by launching, in partnership with BeMyApp, the Qeo Connected Home Challenge.
The objective of the challenge is to facilitate the development of applications or services for connected homes. The Qeo Connected Home Challenge will take place simultaneously in Silicon Valley, Paris and Berlin. Contributors worldwide are welcome: developers, designers, company teams, startup friends, students, electronic engineers.
The Challenge is divided into three stages:
Between November 8th and November 16th, three hacking nights will take place in Silicon Valley, Paris and Berlin. Participants will pitch their ideas and build their teams.
Mid-December, during the “Fly Me to Vegas“ events, the three most promising teams from France, Germany and the U.S. will be selected to present their projects on Technicolor’s booth at CES in Las Vegas.
On January 20th 2014, during the Grand Final, a panel of experts will choose the best projects that will receive the cash prize.
