Sound Re-Recording Mixer Anna Behlmer Joins Technicolor at Paramount

Technicolor announces that Anna Behlmer has joined the company’s new sound post-production operations

Paris (France) & Hollywood (California) – November 18, 2011 – Technicolor (Euronext Paris: TCH) today announces that acclaimed industry veteran sound re-recording mixer Anna Behlmer has joined the company’s new sound post-production operations located on the Paramount Studios lot.  Behlmer will be dedicated to Stage 2 at the newly completed facility, and will join industry stars Scott Millan and Greg Russell.

“As we’ve announced, it is our intention to provide the best talent in the industry.  With today’s announcement, Anna is joining what is quickly becoming the best theatrical sound team in the industry,” stated Technicolor Creative Services President, Claude Gagnon.
Technicolor at Paramount covers two and a half floors, and over 65,000 sq. feet of audio post-production space, on Avenue L, in the middle of Paramount studios.  The facility serves the theatrical and broadcast communities, providing best of class talent and the industry’s most sophisticated infrastructure.

Technicolor also announces its first theatrical mixing project for Paramount Pictures, the up-coming 2012 release of ”Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters.”  On the broadcast side of the facility, Technicolor is currently handling the re-recording chores on many hit TV series, including "Criminal Minds" ABC, "Vampire Diaries" WB, "Glee" Fox, "The Castle" ABC, "American Horror Story" Fox, "Dexter" Showtime, "Revenge" ABC, and "Hung" HBO.

Anna Behlmer is the recipient of 10 Oscar nominations for Best Achievement in Sound Mixing for her contributions to: Star Trek; Blood Diamond; War of the Worlds; Moulin Rouge; The Thin Red Line; LA Confidential; Evita; and Braveheart.  In 2004, she received two Oscar nominations in the same year, for The Last Samurai, and Seabiscuit.  Her recent credits include: Puss in Boots; Super-8; Thor; Megamind; Monsters vs. Aliens; and Kung Fu Panda.
