Two filmmakers who signified the future direction of the American cinema were actor-producer Warren Beatty and director Francis Ford Coppola – both were ardent Technicolor customers. Beatty’s Bonnie and Clyde (1967) - Warner Bros. Pictures, and Coppola’s The Godfather - Paramount Pictures & Alfran Productions, have been rightly celebrated as classics.
