Imaging Science Lab Researchers

Short Bio:

I am graduated with an engineering degree of Ecole Supérieure d’Electricité (Supelec).

I started my career as a HW design engineer (board design, FPGA, ASICs) and then as a system engineering various telecommunication companies (Philips, Newbridge, Alcatel).

I joined Technicolor (formerly Thomson) in 2004 to work on ASIC design in the field of video compression.

Since 2008, I am working on image and video processing within the Imaging Science Laboratory in R&I Rennes, with a current focus on HDR.

Research interests:

Image and Video Processing with a focus on HDR: content creation, fusion, Tone Mapping, Inverse Tone Mapping, distribution, Gamut mapping

Projects:

Technical leader of the SL-HDRxHDR video codec series (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High-dynamic-range_video#SL-HDR1)
