Grégoire Nieto is a postdoctoral researcher at Technicolor, working with the Augmented Reality (AR) team, Immersive lab (IML). His work focuses on photometry and real-time light source estimation and intrinsic image recovery for virtual object insertion, retexturing and relighting.

He graduated from University College London in 2014 and obtained his Msc. Degree in Computer Graphics, Vision and Imaging, as well as an electrical engineering degree from Supélec. He did his PhD “Light Field Remote Vision” under the supervision of Frédéric Devernay and James Crowley, from 2014 to 2017 at INRIA Rhône-Alpes, Grenoble.

His research interests include computational photography, light field imaging, computer vision and computer graphics.
