Heqi Lu is a researcher at Technicolor since September 2017, working in the VFX team at Immersive Lab. He received his PhD degree in Computer Science from Bordeaux University (France, 2014), and Master degree in Computer Application Technology from ZheJiang University (China, 2011). His interests include rendering, GPU computing and DCC (digital content creation) software development.
He worked on real-time ray tracing research at State Key Lab of CAD&CG (2008 - 2011), and on image-based lighting research at Inria Bordeaux (2010 - 2014). From 2014 to 2017, he was a software engineer at Foundry, developing DCC software.
