The India leading satellite operator renews its contract for Technicolor MediaPlay STBs
Paris (France), 18 February 2013 – Technicolor (Euronext Paris : TCH) today announced that it has won two extension contracts from Tata Sky, India’s leading satellite operator with over 8 million subscribers. Pursuant to the long standing relationship between both parties and the commercial success of its high-definition (HD) and standard-definition (SD) digital TV offerings, Tata Sky has granted Technicolor, until mid 2015, extension of the initial contracts for the STBs already delivered over the past years :

Deliveries of these set-top boxes are scheduled from 3Q 2013 to 2Q 2015, while Technicolor will continue providing locally-based after-sales support to Tata Sky.
