Mikros Provides “Great Diversity” of VFX for Seven Films Nominated at César 2020

Technicolor’s Mikros studios in France and Belgium contributed VFX and post-production on seven films nominated in 10 different categories at the French 2020 César Awards.

The César Award is the national film award of France, an initiative of the Académie des Arts et Techniques du Cinéma, or Académie des César, founded in 1975. Supported by the French Ministry of Culture, it is the highest film honor in France – the French film industry's equivalent to the Academy Award. Industry professionals from a dozen categories of filmmaking – more than 4300 voting members – select the nominees – the films, artists and technicians of outstanding French cinema.

Through its studios in France and Belgium, Mikros has provided VFX and/or post-production work on seven films selected by the Académie des César and competing in more than ten different categories:

The teams from our Paris and Liege studios were happy to contribute to all these projects and partner with filmmakers to bring their creative visions to life.”

The 45th César Awards ceremony – celebrating a record attendance year of 74.5 million theater goers – is being held on February 28 at the Salle Pleyel in Paris.
