Salinger

Technicolor is hugely proud of the contributions made to this noteworthy project on the part of its Hollywood team

It was announced in early March that director Shane Salerno’s documentary, Salinger, on the life of author J.D. Salinger was acquired by The Weinstein Company for theatrical distribution. Technicolor is hugely proud of the contributions made to this noteworthy project on the part of its Hollywood team. The project was held under the utmost security protocols over the course of editorial and finishing, around four years all told. Following the film’s theatrical release in North America and other theatrical markets, the film will be shown on PBS’ American Masters series- the 200th film created for the series.

“Technicolor was a partner on this project in the truest sense of the word,” stated Salerno. “There is no company who could have handled such an enormous amount of material so skillfully and without their fingerprints showing until we formally announced the project. I simply could not have produced Salinger without Technicolor.”
