Technicolor's Vince Pizzica speaks at Israeli CyberTech conference

The CyberTech Conference addresses key challenges and threats in the Cyber Security community.

Vince Pizzica, SEVP and head of Technicolor’s Corporate Partnerships & Ventures, was joined by several excom and board members during a visit to Israel this week to identify opportunities for Technicolor to participate in the Israeli innovation ecosystem.

 

As part of the visit, Vince was invited to speak on a panel entitled “What CISOs (Chief Information Security Officers) Really Need and Hope That Innovative Start-Ups Will Provide” at the CyberTech 2014 Conference in Tel Aviv on Tuesday, January 28.

 

Joining Vince on the panel were high-level executives from Apigee, SwissCom, State of Michigan and JT Group where they discussed several key topics including the role of big data in the IT security space, mobile and untrusted devices, cloud security and encryption, IT security in a SAAS model, security hazards and general cyber intelligence awareness.

 

This prestigious cyber security conference was opened by the Prime Minster of Israel, Mr. Benjamin Netanyahu, followed by global figures in this arena, with the participation of delegations from all over the world. Other keynote speakers at the conference included executives from Deutsche Telekom, Cisco Systems, Symantec, Lockheed Martin, Microsoft and many others.
