Quentin Avril

Quentin AVRIL received a B. Sc. (2006) and M. Sc. (2008) degrees in computer science from the University of Rennes 1, and the Ph.D. degree (2011) from the engineering school INSA of Rennes. After one year as a lecturer at the University of Rennes 1 (working on VR & HPC), one year as research engineer at Dassault Aviation (working on NH90 flight simulator) and two years of research fellow at the ETS of Montreal, Canada (working with Autodesk on characters animation), he joined Technicolor in 2015 as a full time researcher and leader of the Face Rigging project (working with MPC Films on facial rigging animation).
