Imaging Science Lab Researchers

Short bio:

I am an Architect at the Imaging Science lab at Technicolor, Rennes, France.

I received the Dipl.-Ing. degree from the EcoleSupérieured'Electricité(SUPELEC) in signal, image processing and pattern recognition in 1988.

I joined the Rennes Electronic Labs of Thomson CSF in 1989 as a R&D engineer and worked successively on radar image processing, detection/tracking on IR video, multi-sensor data fusion, and then on various projects of video processing (plasma TV, 3D content), video coding (MPEG-2, MPEG-4, AVC/H.264, SVC, HEVC).

Till 2011, I am also in charge of designing, provisioning and managing CPU/GPU grid computing architecture for Technicolor Research & Innovation teams in Rennes.

I am now working in the Core Video Coding team focusing on future video standard (successor of HEVC).

Research interests:

Image Processing, Video Compression.
