Technicolor Joins TIM Brasil Event Connecting Women With Jobs

Technicolor Connected Home is part of the movement linking women to opportunities at virtual job fair and professional development courses on Mulheres Positivas (Positive Women) platform.

Last year Technicolor Connected Home joined TIM Brasil’s Positive Women project aimed at the employability of women. This year, in celebration of International Women's Day, Technicolor is participating in a virtual job fair as TIM brings together the companies participating in the project for a week of professional and personal development through courses, workshops and employment opportunities.

The program for “Employability Week” – which runs March 7-11 – was developed with the participating companies who are committed to expanding the role of Brazilian women in the job market. Technicolor Connected Home joins a prestigious list of more than 50 participating companies, including amongst others Accenture, Adidas, CMI, Dell Technologies, HP Brazil, Microsoft, Nokia, and Oracle.

“We are proud of the mobilization we have initiated so that more and more women have opportunities in the job market and in their personal daily lives,” said Maria Antonietta Russo, VP of Human Resources at TIM, who points out that the unemployment rate among Brazilian women is 13.9% – compared to 9% for men.

"The pandemic has accentuated social and gender inequalities,” continued Russo. “We want to contribute to transforming this reality, going beyond the supply of jobs. All the companies that are with us in the Positive Women project understand the urgency of also promoting training actions, which contribute to personal and career development.”

Once registered, participants gain access to the following resources, specially updated for the week around International Women’s Day:

  • A free download link for the Positive Women application, the digital platform created by businesswoman Fabi Saad to support women's personal and professional development.
  • Publicized job vacancies from partner companies, as well as training courses made available by participating companies.
  • Training topics ranging from financial education, personal marketing, skills and careers of the future – to preparation for job interviews, time planning, entrepreneurship and IT.
  • Additional functions in the coming months, including a podcast and benefits club.
