Monthly rewind: Introducing the Technicolor Group, International Women’s Day, GDC and more.

April 4, 2024

Last month, we saw Technicolor Creative Studios embark on a new journey as we introduced a new framework for transformation. World-class businesses, MPC, The Mill, Mikros Animation, and Technicolor Games, will be housed under a new corporate banner: Technicolor Group. We are excited for what’s to come across the group and we cannot wait to share more breath-taking projects with you. Last month, we also celebrated International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month with the launch of our very first podcast Behind the Lens. We sat down with speakers, Nieves Navarro and Kirsten Cox, respective VP – EMEA Marketing at Cisco and Service Now. In case you missed it, you can still tune into our episodes and find out more from our speakers🎙️

MPC started the month strong with two BAFTA TV nominations for Silo and Wheel of Time S2 in the Special, Visual and Graphic Effects category ⭐ We’re eagerly anticipating May 12th when the winners will be announced. Best of luck to our teams involved in these projects!

This March, the MPC team attended the Academy Awards ceremony as Ridley Scott’s Napoleon was nominated for Best Visual Effects. The nomination clearly manifests our team’s unwavering commitment and artistic expertise in the project’s realization.
