Farid Sandoval

Farid Sandoval is concept artist with a long life passion for design and the art of movie making.

His professional career started with a bachelors degree in Industrial design. Since then, he has been involved in variety of projects and industries, from the development of new VR education tools for children, to the design of stations and a new era of transportation for Hyperloop TT.

After moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film, he describes revising many principles of traditional art that he’d long forgotten. It was through this journey that he discovered a passion for concept art for film and how he landed at his current post at MPC. Here has worked to develop creatures, environments and story beats in movies such as Overlord, Detective Pikachu and Godzilla among many others. His process can go from early pencil sketches to digital paintings and all the way to 3D renderings.

Farid strives to continue to grow as an artist and a designer, and is in constant search for inspiration, collaboration and creative projects where visual solutions are needed.
