Pro Sound Awards 2015

Technicolor Sound is recognized with multiple nominations at the 2015 ProSound Awards.

Technicolor is thrilled that our sound teams have been nominated for multiple 2015 ProSound Awards, which recognize outstanding sound in four sectors: installed, studio, broadcast and live/touring. Technicolor’s London sound facility celebrates the end of an amazing inaugural year with a nomination for ‘Best Facility’ at the 2015 ProSound Awards. The latest addition to services provided at this Lexington, Soho location include ADR and sound mixing suites, which boast the latest in audio technology.

The strength of our London-based sound team to deliver has also been recognized with two projects shortlisted for the category of ‘Best Sound in Post-Production’: The Eichmann Show (BBC 2) and Poldark (BBC1). Gareth Bull, Technicolor’s Head of Sound in London, is delighted of the success of both shows and his talented team.

The Technicolor-served indie film Whiplash was also nominated for a ProSound Award, in the category ‘Best Sound in Post-Production’. Technicolor Hollywood-based sound re-recording mixers Craig Mann and Ben Wilkins, along with production sound mixer Thomas Curley, were honored earlier this year with the ‘Sound Mixing’ Academy Award, along with multiple industry award wins and nominations, for their incredible work on this film.

Aptly hosted at the Ministry of Sound, the ProSound Awards take place on the 24 September 2015. We congratulate our teams for their nominations and are honored for the opportunity to work on such amazing projects.
