Paris (France) – Hollywood (California) - May 11, 2010 – Technicolor (Euronext Paris 18453; NYSE: TCH) today unveiled its presence for the upcoming 63rd edition of the Cannes International Film Festival.

“We are honored to unveil the ‘new’ Technicolor for the first time to the great Cannes audience at this year’s 63rd edition” said Frederic Rose, CEO, Technicolor. “And we are doing so with a stronger presence, through meaningful events for the Group and films we provided creative services to that are being presented.”

Various projects served by Technicolor presented at the festival include three films in the official competition: Copie Conforme, and La Nostra Vita, from directors Abbas Kiarostami and Daniele Luchetti; and Long Boonmee Raleuk Chat (Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives), from Thailand and director Apichatpong Weerasethakul. Director Derek Cianfrance’s Blue Valentine premieres in the Un Certain Regard category; and director David Robert Miller’s The Myth of the American Sleepover premieres in the Critics’ Week category.

Technicolor, in association with Universal Pictures, will sponsor the premiere cocktail party for director Ridley Scott’s Robin Hood following its screening on the festival’s opening night. Technicolor’s production services for Robin Hood included dailies, front-end laboratory work, and high-end visual effects. Post-production services included digital negative film-outs and digital cinema mastering services. Technicolor also handled North American and international film release printing and North American film distribution to theatres – and will be providing DVD and Blu-ray mastering and replication for Robin Hood.

The Technicolor Foundation for Cinema Heritage, in association with the Groupama Gan Foundation for Cinema, will once again premiere a noteworthy and recently restored theatrical feature in the Cannes Classics section. This year’s film is director Pierre Etaix’ 1969 classic comedy, The Great Love. The film originally premiered at Cannes where it received a nomination for a Golden Palm Award. The film will be screened on May 19th, at 5pm, at the Palais.

Rounding out Technicolor’s Cannes events, with Premiere Magazine and Canal+, Technicolor will sponsor a photo exhibit of the legendary still photographer Bob Willoughby. The exhibit, Bob Willoughby’s Hollywood, will feature 18 vintage images from the photographer’s celebrated career and will take place at the Patio Canal+.
