Rodrigo Cazares

Rodrigo leads lighting training for the Technicolor Academy across multiple sites.
Before his career as a VFX trainer, Rodrigo spent 7 years as a lead artist at Teleformula and Televisa in Mexico. After a successful career as a CGI artist, Rodrigo accepted a role at one of Mexico’s top universities, Tecnologico de Monterrey. Between 2007 and 2010 he was a lighting and modelling trainer, and from 2010 to 2017 he was chair/national coordinator of the Bachelor of Animation and Digital Arts course. Rodrigo is an Autodesk Certify Instructor, specialising in Maya.
